The screen and the machine work together
A well-made screen panel needs correct motion, feed distribution and tension to deliver its rated open area. When material arrives in one concentrated stream, much of the deck remains underused.
Check the setup first
Review stroke, speed, deck angle, feed box condition and the position of support bars. Look for loose clamps or sagging media; both can change the opening under load and accelerate fatigue.
Improve by measuring
Track throughput, retained material and wear patterns after each adjustment. Those observations make it easier to select the next aperture, wire diameter or panel style with confidence.
